Now Hiring: Sales & Logistics Manager (Class 8 Trucks & Heavy Equipment)
Semlers is looking for a driven, experienced Sales & Logistics Manager to take ownership of deals from first contact through to final delivery. This role is critical to ensuring our customers receive exactly what they were promised — on time, on spec, and handled correctly across all logistics, including cross-border transport.
You will work closely with our inside and outside sales teams, helping structure deals, solve problems, and ensure strong execution from sale to delivery.
This is a hands-on, in-house position working directly with sales, shop, and customers.
What you’ll do:
- Manage deals from initial contact through to final delivery
- Coordinate logistics, transport, and compliance (including cross-border)
- Work alongside inside and outside sales teams to structure and close deals
- Support and train inside and outside sales staff when needed
- Solve problems quickly to keep deals moving and customers satisfied
- Ensure margins are protected and expectations are met
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in sales and logistics coordination
- Experience with cross-border transport (Canada–U.S. preferred)
- Customs documentation (BOL, invoices, export/import paperwork)
- Permits and compliance requirements for equipment transport
- Weight, size, and equipment restrictions across jurisdictions
- Background in heavy-duty trucks or equipment (preferred)
- Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
- Comfortable handling difficult customer situations
- Proven ability to close deals and protect margins
- Strong negotiation skills and confident deal closer
- Experience working with both inside and outside sales teams
- Support and train inside and outside sales staff when needed
- Leadership mindset with a team-first approach
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule & Work-Life Balance:
Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
