Our team of nearly 60 teachers needs 2 more voice teachers. Voice teachers, while fun and relatable, need also be properly educated and have a strong grasp of music theory. We need voice teachers on all days and have a 2 day minimum.

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Piano/Voice teachers should possess a minimum of:
- University degree in music (or other professional training)
- 2 years of prior experience working at a reputable music school in Canada is a major asset
- Teachers should be stylistically versatile, be able to improvise, compose, read tab, AND traditional sheet music.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Warm and caring
- Encouraging and gentle
- Experience working with younger children
- Infectious outgoing personality
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Additional experience working with children (camps, coaching etc) is an asset
AVAILABILITY
- Applicants must have availability on at least 2 of the following - Weekdays from 3:30-9 and/or Saturdays from 9am-4pm.
BONUS
- Preference will be given to applicants who include a cover letter expressing their love for teaching music to young children and indicating their current availability including Mondays
Pay is dependent on applicant's experience and education. Standard starting pay ranges from $32 - $37 an hour. We welcome current university students at the rate of $25 an hour.
