Yard Dawgs is expanding into Red Deer, and we’re looking for a motivated leader who wants to help launch and grow a brand-new service area.
This is more than just a technician role.
The person we hire will help build the Red Deer territory, manage a technician, and take ownership of daily operations. If you perform well this season, you will have the opportunity to become the General Manager of the Red Deer branch next year.

What You'll Do
As a Lead Lawn Care Technician, your role will combine hands-on lawn care work with leadership responsibilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing lawn care services such as fertilization, weed control, and aeration
- Organizing and managing daily service routes
- Maintaining your truck and equipment
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Helping grow the Red Deer service territory
Future Opportunity: Branch Manager
If you perform well this season and help grow the territory, you may have the opportunity to take over the Red Deer location as Branch Manager next season.
Branch Managers are responsible for:
- Managing technicians
- Overseeing routes and daily operations
- Growing the customer base in the city
- Running the branch

Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Full-time availability from late April to October
- Strong work ethic and leadership mindset
- Ability to manage another technician
- Reliable transportation
Previous lawn care experience is helpful but not required. We provide full training.
Compensation & Benefits
- $25 – $35 per hour based on performance and experience
