Dendron Services Ltd. in BOW ISLAND is looking for an experienced Truck Driver.
Minimum of 3 years commercial experience driving class 3 or 1 trucks. (Must provide a commercial experience letter and 3-5 year Commercial Drivers Abstract with resume.)
Primary duties would include:
- Driving and safely operating a Hook Lift Truck for waste bin services
- Disposal of waste bins at the North Forty Mile Landfill
- Delivering scrap metal to various salvage yards
- Hauling aggregate products to various locations as needed
- Loading and hauling construction equipment
- General Maintenance of Hook Lift Trucks
The successful candidate must also be able to:
- Take direction well from both owners
- Must be organized, reliable and honest
- Read and write in English
- Maintain a concise log/record of landfill tickets per customer in the format provided by Dendron Services Ltd.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with contracting company’s representative(s)
- Complying with all safety requirements of Dendron Services Ltd. and our contracting organizations
- Report daily to owners
- Act as the onsite representative for Dendron Services Ltd. when required
- Preform manual labor task as required (laser, packer, shoveling, shop maintenance, servicing and cleaning trucks and equipement)
In addition to the above requirements, applicants that also have the following experience will be given special consideration:
- Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment (Wheeled Loaders, Dozer, Skid Steers, Grader)
In addition the following items are required;
- Provide a 5 yr diver’s abstract
- Must be able to provide a Criminal Record Check as requested by third party contracting organization
- Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test in accordance with requirements from contracting organization
- List of references from past employment
Wages will be competitive, based on experience and qualifications. After 3 months a full benefit package will begin.
