Job Summary
Valid Secret Security Clearance required (Level II)
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of, and experience with, quality assurance and control test plans, test scripts and test data. Core responsibilities will involve participating in functional and technical design reviews, performing integration/functional and system testing, verifying test results and developing software quality reports. This important role will contribute to our mission of developing state-of-the-art software solutions for the Canadian Armed Forces.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor test plans, test scripts and record test data
Maintain a registry of software defects and quality reports.
Identify and document software defects.
Participate with other project resources to resolve defects.
Preparation of technical definition studies, options analysis, technical test documents, and end user train the trainer material.
Walkthrough quality assurance test plan, procedures, and test reports with user facing client.
Planning, coordinating, and executing one or multiple levels of quality assurance testing (product level, System, documentation).
Providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.
Conduct focus area design, technical, and management reviews to monitor, advise, and report on progress and potential problems.
Participate in functional and technical design reviews, perform integration/functional and system testing, and verify test results.
Draft and develop software quality reports.
Perform regression testing of software applications.
Preparation of technical definition studies, options analysis, technical test documents, and end user train the trainer material.
Walkthrough quality assurance test plan, procedures, and test reports with user facing client.
Coordinating, and executing one or multiple levels of quality assurance testing (product level, System, documentation).
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in:
Monitor test plans, test scripts and record test data
Maintain a registry of software defects and quality reports.
Identify and document software defects.
Participate with other project resources to resolve defects.
Execution of quality assurance and control test plans, test scripts and test data.
Participating in functional and technical design reviews, perform integration/functional and system testing, and verify test results.
Identifying code and document software defects.
Drafting and developing software quality reports.
Performing regression testing of software applications.
Preparation of technical definition studies, options analysis, technical test documents, and end user train the trainer material.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
An active SECRET security clearance is a must.
Education:
Diploma (min 2 years) from a recognized college or university in the sciences or engineering.
or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR, is an asset.
