Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service, ensuring that freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition. Dump Trailer, Roll off, and Tri-axle experience a must. Driver must be able to do cross boarder runs.
Duties
- Operate heavy trucks to transport freight between locations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition.
Skills
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Drivers abstract to be provided.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while on the road.
