Sanitation Worker – Industrial Bakery (Mississauga, ON)
We are currently hiring experienced Sanitation Workers for a well-established industrial bakery located in Mississauga, ON.
Job Title: Sanitation Worker
- Location: Mississauga, ON
- Employment Type: Full-time / Ongoing
- Shifts Available:
- Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Night: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Schedule: Must be flexible and available to work weekends as needed (12.5HRS)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of the facility, including floors, walls, ceilings, and production areas (warehouse, freezer, refrigerators, packing and production lines, and change rooms)
- Use various cleaning tools and equipment such as scrapers, brushes, pads, industrial vacuums, scrub machines, and compressed air
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, proofers, refrigeration coils, and fans
- Ensure all sanitation standards and food safety guidelines are met
- Collect and dispose of waste and recyclable materials properly
- Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of industrial sanitation experience, preferably in a food production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work flexible 8-hour shifts, including weekends
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
