Project Manager – Commercial Millwork
Detailed Works is an AWMAC approved millwork company with over 16 years of experience specializing in high quality commercial and residential projects. We are known for our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and strong relationships with our clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple commercial and residential millwork projects from handoff through to completion. You will work closely with our internal team and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from award through to installation and closeout
- Review drawings, specifications, and project scope
- Coordinate with design, estimating, programming, production, and installation teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Communicate with clients, consultants, and site teams
- Track progress, manage changes, and resolve issues proactively
- Attend site meetings as required
- Ensure quality control and client satisfaction throughout the project
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in millwork
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from award to completion
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Solid understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and change management
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency with project management software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to attend site meetings as required
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Experience in commercial millwork or custom cabinetry
- Gold Seal Certification, PMP, or similar credentials
