Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Communicate effectively in English (verbally and written). French speaking is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail.
- Creativity.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office.
- Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Smart Serve certificate.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Conduct activity questionnaire with new move-ins to learn social/spiritual data. Update yearly to monitor for changes.
- Meet with residents (individually and in groups) to ascertain activity preferences and obtain feedback on current programs.
- Plan and implement activities in variety and frequency to meet the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of residents.
- Ensure activities are offered as scheduled and provide appropriate alternatives where necessary.
- Coordinate Resident Council meetings.
- Assure work areas including storage rooms are clean and organized.
- Maintain resident participation records.
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing on facility events.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
