Overview
We are seeking experienced Heavy Truck, Trailer, and Heavy Equipment Mechanics. Also2-3 years of apprenticeship or hands-on experience. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment. Ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical skills, familiarity with various machinery, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Prior dealership experience and expertise with heavy equipment operation are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse machinery including Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Skid steers, mini ex, screeners and stackers, all kinds of attachments and farm machinery, HVAC systems, Knowledge of repairing hydraulic components and making up hydraulic hoses would definately be an advantage for our in house hydraulics department.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on heavy trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct welding, electrical repairs, and hydraulic system troubleshooting
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble and assemble components
- Utilize heavy lifting techniques and equipment to move large parts or machinery
- Work with customer service teams to provide technical support and ensure client satisfaction
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities
- Read and interpret schematics for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Assist in the assembly of new equipment or machinery as needed
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy trucks, trailers, or industrial equipment
- Dealership experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of excavator, dozer, loader, screeners and stackers operation, farm machinery, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment
- Proficiency with welding techniques and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic software effectively
- Heavy lifting capability and physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Mechanical knowledge across automotive repair and maintenance disciplines
- Experience working with heavy equipment operation and assembly processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Pay: $28.00-$50.00 per hour
