- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices, in compliance with licensing regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care routines and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary.
- Keep accurate records of each session, including treatment details and client progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when integrated care is required to optimize client outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing or regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and trusting environment for clients.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and address client questions or concerns.
- Prior experience in a clinical or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
