Description:
Connor Industries, manufacturer of Stanley aluminum boats is currently looking to add CNC plasma table operator to their team in Parry Sound, Ontario.
Duties:
· Setup and operate CNC Plasma cutting table and nesting software
· Load material onto the machine bed, unload finished product, and remove remnants
· Perform regular maintenance and adjustments on machinery to achieve optimal performance
· Also responsible for receiving and organizing incoming material shipments
· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
· Perform other plant related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent experience
· Must have previous experience operating a CNC machine; experience operating a Messer cutting machine is a strong asset
· Must be able to speak, read and write English clearly
· Ability to read blueprints and drawings
· General knowledge of material handling equipment (overhead crane) is an asset
· Working knowledge of general computer programs strongly preferred

· Standing and/or walking for extended periods
· Hand-eye coordination
· Bending, pushing, and lifting of 50+ pounds
· Attention to detail
· Manual skill and flexibility
