Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Fast Food Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing efficient food service, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations while ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service
- Manage cashier duties, including handling cash transactions and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times during food handling and preparation
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels
- Provide prompt and courteous service to enhance customer satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order accuracy
- Capable of standing for extended periods and working in a high-energy environment
- Basic kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous
- Commitment to food safety practices and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with good communication skills
