Overview
Canadian Feed Screws is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will operate CNC lathe machine for turning and machining barrels and screws. Experience with CNC machining, machine setup, and precision manufacturing is preferred.
Duties
- Operate CNC lathe machines.
- Perform turning and machining of barrels and screws
- Setup tools and machine offsets
- Read blueprints and technical drawings
- Inspect finished parts and maintain quality standards
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
Experience
- Prior experience operating CNC lathe machines or similar machining equipment is preferred
- Proficiency in CNC programming, especially with Fanuc controls
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling, and equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD software for interpreting technical drawings and models
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerances
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
