Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer/Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with various manual tasks on-site, supporting the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and clean-up of construction sites, including moving materials and tools
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to support construction activities
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, trimming, and installing fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure quality finishes
- Conduct general handyman duties as needed to support project progress
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment
- Experience in carpentry, caulking, and general handyman work preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading for construction projects
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Prior experience in construction/ Roofing or related fields is required
