Packaging Worker
10 hour shift starting at 6:30am
Main Duties:
Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
- Picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, packing, weighing and boxing finished product
- Lifting from 20lbs. up to 60lbs.
- Working with raw & cooked meat
- Clean work areas and equipment.
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
Work Conditions:
- Performing repetitive tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Physical Effort: This is a physically demanding position and will require continuous standing for extended periods of time, as well as some heavy lifting.
- Physical Environment: Regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery
Training wage $18 per hour.
Post-training wage $19.75 per hour or more depending on performance and ability to learn quickly (typically after ~40 hours of training)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.25-$19.75 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
