Glazier Foreman – Commercial Glazing Position Overview
Sunco Glass Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Glazier Foreman to join our growing team. The successful candidate will lead field crews on commercial glazing projects while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This position is ideal for a strong leader with extensive glazing experience who can coordinate installations, manage manpower, and maintain positive communication with project managers, general contractors, and site personnel.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead glazing crews on commercial construction projects.
- Coordinate daily site activities, manpower, and material requirements.
- Install and oversee installation of:
- Curtainwall systems
- Storefront systems
- Doors and hardware
- Glass railings
- Sealed units and glazing systems
- Read and interpret shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure installations meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain site safety and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supers, and other trades.
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
- Complete site documentation, deficiency tracking, and progress reporting.
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior glaziers.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining workmanship quality.
Qualifications
- Journeyman/Red Seal Glazier certification preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial glazing experience.
- Previous foreman or leadership experience considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of curtainwall, storefront, and glazing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience operating lifts and job site equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $42.00-$46.00 per hour
