Registered Psychologist (Contract)
Cornerstone Counselling is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychologist to join our growing clinical team on a contract basis.

Our team of experienced clinicians provides evidence-based counselling services to individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children as young as four years old. Since opening our doors, we have had the privilege of supporting more than 90,000 people on their mental health journey.

What You Will Bring to the Role
Alignment with our mission, values, and commitment to providing accessible community-based mental health services.
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology or a related discipline.
Registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
Minimum of two years of post-registration clinical experience.
Experience providing evidence-based therapy to individuals experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, violence and abuse, relationship challenges, behavioural concerns, and grief and loss.
Experience working with Indigenous clients is considered an asset.
Interest or experience in working with couples and adolescents is an asset.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Professional liability insurance.
Availability to provide a minimum of 12 client sessions per week.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with electronic health records and standard computer applications.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment.
Availability during weekdays, with some evening availability required. Saturday appointments are also available for clinicians who are interested.
