We are looking for an Industrial Electrician to join our growing organization and support our Reliability team!
Job Summary: The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for on-shift calls to troubleshoot, repair, and assist operations. A strong mechanical background is required as well as electrical aptitude.
Accountabilities:
- Install new electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment in a food processing plant
- PLC experience including programing, troubleshooting
- Provide technical expertise in all areas of maintenance and engineering with a focus on electrical and controls systems including PLC programming
- Support maintenance activities for all production equipment and facilities in a cost-effective manner to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and life of the equipment
- Identification of packaging and maintenance opportunities, both operational and equipment based to improve safety, quality, and cost performance
- Maintains electrical documentation and current controls programming off plant equipment.
- Perform duties and assignments as required by the senior management team
Qualifications:
- 442A licensed electrician
- 2+ years related maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- 2+ years experience with PLC programming & networking
- Food or beverage or consumer packaged goods experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups across all boundaries
- Solid command of safety and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, often with demanding time constraints
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability
