Job Summary
We are seeking a local, skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Glaziers helper. Local residents need only apply. If you don't live in Hinton, please don't apply. This is an entry level position, and the ideal candidate would possess a strong interest in construction and carpentry. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and materials, and the ability to lift heavy objects. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety on construction sites is essential. Valid class 5 drivers license, physically fit and a Canadian Citizenship, with a residence in Hinton(local only). Possible apprenticeship for the right candidate.

Duties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for tasks including but not limited to glass installation, door hanging, and trim carpentry.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute project specifications accurately.
- Engage in fabrication activities, including assembly and heavy lifting of materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
Experience
- Experience in construction or maintenance person roles with a focus on carpentry, glass installation, and remodeling.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to the trade.
- Strong understanding of construction processes including caulking, frame carpentry, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by project demands.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
