Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Youth Worker and/or Early Childhood Educator to support children and young individuals in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering positive development, ensuring safety, and providing engaging activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children and youth in various settings.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and developmental growth.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create individualized plans that meet each child's needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times.
- Document observations of children's progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to supervisors or specialists.
- Assist in teaching life skills, social skills, or specific educational topics as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with children to promote trust and confidence.
- Walking and picking up children from school and walking them back to the studio.
Skills
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong teaching abilities to facilitate learning through creative activities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
- Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse needs and learning styles.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
- Working with children: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- child and youth worker or ECE Certificate? (required)
