Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all guests and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality service and attention to detail. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Dispose of trash and ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members
Experience
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
