Job Description:
This position will best suit the person who possesses a strong Mechanical aptitude. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Team Members and be trained in Mechanical Assembly. You will contribute to the success and innovation of a small Technical Team within an entrepreneurial environment. Job involves following assembly procedures, considerable fitting, aligning, and adjusting to strict tolerances as required.
You will be responsible for the following key elements of this position:
· Willing and able to assist with mechanical machine assembly.
· Capable of working effectively in a team environment.
· Proficient in using basic hand tools.
· Able to read blueprints.
· Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Education:
· Certificate or diploma is an asset.
Experience (2-5 years preferred):
· Mechanical assembly experience is an asset
· Knowledge of drawings and shop practice is an asset; training will be provided if needed.
Equipment and Machinery experience:
· Dexterity and knowledge of hand tool usage is an asset
