Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boom Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will operate boom trucks and cranes to assist with lifting, rigging, and positioning materials on various construction sites. This role requires excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. The Boom Operator plays a vital role in ensuring project safety, efficiency, and successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Operate boom trucks, cranes, and related equipment safely and efficiently to lift and move materials as directed by project needs.
- Perform rigging tasks, including attaching loads securely and inspecting rigging gear for safety compliance.
- Coordinate with ground crew and other team members using clear communication to ensure precise placement of materials.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of lifting operations, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of lift activities and equipment usage.
Pay: $30.50-$35.50 per hour
