We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and passionate Montessori / RECE Supervisor to join our growing childcare team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and support to educators while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children, families, and staff.
NOTE: You must be an RECE with at least 3-4 years of experience. All other applications will be rejected
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare centre/classrooms
- Support and mentor Montessori and RECE educators
- Ensure compliance with Ministry licensing requirements and centre policies
- Maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment
- Communicate effectively with families regarding children’s development and centre updates
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, tours, and classroom management
- Ensure classrooms maintain Montessori and play-based learning standards
- Support curriculum planning and implementation
- Maintain health, safety, and supervision standards at all times
- Handle documentation, inspections, and administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- RECE in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Montessori certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years supervisory or leadership experience in childcare
- Strong knowledge of CCEYA and Ministry regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Leadership, problem-solving, and team-building abilities
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
