Our facility in Parry Sound Ontario, in the heart of the beautiful 30,000 islands, has a new employment opportunity. We are looking for an Assembler Tester to join our team!
Dayshift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Base Rate: $29.50/ hour
Overtime and Shift Work may be required.
We are looking for reliable, mechanically minded candidates.
Experience preferred but not required.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate production line machinery and computers
- Perform pre-shift tool and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot production line machinery
- Perform equipment change-overs
- Responsible for quality control. Make necessary adjustments to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications (check with supervisors)
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analysis (JSAs)
- Operate forklift, overhead cranes, or mobile yard cranes (if qualified)
- Complete daily production timecard through the timekeeping system
- Perform daily preventive maintenance (PMS) on production line machinery or tools
- Communicate with operators from other shifts
- Clean and maintain work area
- Turn off equipment when not in use
- Lock out equipment in the event of equipment failure
