Temporary Janitorial / Building Caretaker Assistant
Next Level Cleaning is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team on a temporary basis from August 24 to September 11.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining clean, well-kept buildings, and values professionalism. While this is a temporary position, there may be an opportunity for ongoing employment for the right candidate.
Position Details
- Job Type: Temporary
- Duration: August 24 – September 11
- Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
- Schedule: Weekday daytime hours (Monday to Friday)
- Pay: **$20.00-$22.00 per hour **depending on experience
- Work Location: Single building site (Greater Victoria area)
- Paid training provided
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain common areas of a strata condominium
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize shared spaces
- Clean lobby entrances, glass doors, and elevator interiors
- Sweep exterior walkways and remove debris
- Restock cleaning supplies as required
- Report maintenance concerns to management
- Represent Next Level Cleaning in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with residents

Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, commercial cleaning, or building caretaker experience is an asset
- Basic English communication skills are preferred
- A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle are an asset, but not required
- Able to perform the physical duties of cleaning and light maintenance
