Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a strong background in early childhood education. The Early Childhood Teacher will collaborate with colleagues and engage with families to ensure each child's individual needs are met, promoting a positive learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff, ensuring clear understanding of developmental progress and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations .
- Incorporate special education strategies when working with children with disabilities or additional needs.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and time management to maximize instructional time.
- Lead activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Uphold safety protocols and health guidelines to ensure a secure environment for all children.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting; classroom experience is preferred.
- Formal education in early childhood education or a related field is required; Level 1,2,3 from the Department of Education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage children and communicate with families.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a classroom setting.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while working collaboratively within a team environment.
