Overview
We are seeking a barista with strong leadership skills and a high sense of accountability, capable of managing daily operations, supporting team members, and ensuring consistent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and possess excellent customer service skills. This role involves preparing beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
A strong focus on food safety, time management, and attention to detail is essential to ensure a positive experience for every guest.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks following company standards
- Operate POS systems for accurate cashiering and cash handling
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling drinks and managing food items in compliance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and counters throughout shifts
- Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills to ensure accurate cash handling and change distribution
- Assist in serving food items when necessary and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
Experience
- Previous barista with kitchen experience is required
- Experience working with POS systems
- Background in the food industry or food service environment is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math proficiency for cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
