About Cleer
Cleer is an AI-powered B2B SaaS platform for dental offices. Our system automates the admin work their teams hate, pulling information straight from insurers so staff aren't stuck on the phone for hours every day.
We're built for the Canadian market, and nearly 300 dental offices and DSOs already run on Cleer. Once they start, they stick around (95%+ gross revenue retention), and we're growing fast.
You'd be one of our first dedicated sales hires, working directly with the founders, with a clear path to grow as the team and your book scale.
The role
This is a full-cycle B2B SaaS sales role at an early-stage, fast-growing AI startup. Our marketing engine books qualified demos for you, so you spend your time selling, not prospecting from scratch. You'll run those demos, manage a two-week trial through to a signed contract, and own the close. Our buyers are practice owners, office managers, treatment coordinators, and DSO operations leaders. The product sells itself once people see it, so your job is running a sharp demo, configuring the right plan, and getting them to yes.
This is an in-office role, every day, in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Early-stage sales moves faster when the team is in the same room, and you'll be close to the founders and the product as we build the motion together.
What you'll do
- Run booked demos from our inbound pipeline, live screen-share walkthroughs of the product
- Manage prospects through a two-week trial and convert them into paying accounts
- Re-engage warm trials that have gone quiet and bring them to a decision
- Configure the right plan and quote on the spot across our module and pricing tiers
- Hit and beat quota, with uncapped upside for overperformance
- Feed insights back to product and marketing, you're our ears in the market
- Help shape the sales playbook as our first AE, not inherit a rigid one
What we're looking for
- 2+ years closing B2B SaaS or tech sales, with a track record of hitting quota
- Magnetic on a call. You build trust fast and people warm to you.
- Coachable and resilient. You take feedback well and don't fold when you hear no.
- Strong on a live demo and disciplined on follow-through. The close happens after the demo, not during it.
- Excited to build at an early-stage startup. You want ownership, not a rigid playbook.
- You thrive when things move fast and priorities shift, and you figure it out as you go.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
Compensation
- $70,000 base salary
- $50,000 variable at target, uncapped (~$120,000 OTE)
- Equity on the table for the right hire
- Ramped quota over your first three months while you learn the space
- Unlimited paid time off, with a two-week minimum we actually expect you to take
- Ground-floor role as our first AE, with real ownership and a fast path to grow as we scale

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
