Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Use phone etiquette to follow up with customers and support ongoing sales efforts
- Assist in merchandising activities, including inventory management and product placement
- Ensure a clean, welcoming store environment that encourages repeat business
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or technology sales is highly valued.
- Strong verbal and written skills in the English language. Bilingual in French is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and time management are essential
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies will be beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
