Kingsway Auto Centre is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone organized, reliable, and experienced in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate must have experience using Mitchell 1 / Mitchell One and be comfortable managing parts ordering, inventory, pricing, and communication with technicians and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Order parts for vehicles in service and inventory
- Source parts from multiple suppliers and compare pricing
- Use Mitchell 1 / Mitchell One for estimates, parts lookup, and repair information
- Manage parts inventory and keep track of incoming and outgoing parts
- Communicate with technicians to ensure the correct parts are ordered
- Follow up with suppliers on availability, pricing, and delivery times
- Return incorrect or unused parts when needed
- Keep records of parts invoices, work orders, and approvals
- Help control costs and make sure parts are ordered efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized parts area
- Work with management to keep jobs moving quickly and efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Parts Manager or in an automotive parts role
- Must have Mitchell 1 / Mitchell One experience
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes
- Good communication and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Experience dealing with parts suppliers and vendors
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, professional, and able to work well with technicians and management
