Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security/Bouncer to maintain a safe and secure environment at our venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring guest behavior, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. This role requires a strong presence, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is a plus, along with familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the venue using CCTV and surveillance equipment to identify potential security threats or disturbances.
- Enforce venue policies and safety regulations to prevent unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.
- Conduct security checks at entry points, including bag inspections if necessary.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including managing unruly guests or medical situations.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure the safety of all patrons and staff members.
- Document incidents accurately and report to management as required.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious activity and deterring theft or vandalism.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the venue to deter misconduct and provide assistance when needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle difficult situations tactfully and assertively.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and respond quickly when necessary.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or certifications related to security work.
