About the clinic:
Bayridge Physiotherapy is a busy, manual therapy-focused clinic located in the west end of Kingston, Ontario. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, 1:1 care while maintaining excellent therapeutic relationships and communication with both our clients and referring professionals.
Thanks to our high client retention rate and strong word-of-mouth reputation, we enjoy a steady, continuous flow of new patients. Our diverse caseload includes a mix of private pay, OHIP-funded, WSIB, Veterans Affairs, and Canadian Armed Forces clients.
We are currently seeking a part-time Physiotherapist (with full-time potential) to join our collaborative team and step directly into a fully established caseload.
Job requirements:
- Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Physiotherapist Residents are encouraged to apply).
- Proof of professional liability insurance.
- Energetic, reliable, and passionate about providing top-tier, client-centred care.
- Manual therapy experience (ideally in a private practice setting) with the ability to work independently with a variety of MSK conditions.
- Motivation to continuously grow your professional career and manual therapy skillset.
- Training in acupuncture or dry needling is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities (main duties):
- Assess clients' physical abilities using standard assessment procedures and determine a physiotherapy diagnosis.
- Establish collaborative treatment goals with clients based on their diagnosis.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, manual therapy, education, and other modalities.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify them accordingly.
- Provide guidance on home exercises and strategies to enhance and/or maintain treatment outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding clients' progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate clinical and statistical records within the EMR system.
- Participate in developing and implementing health promotion and educational services for clients and the community.

Pay: $75.00-$81.00 per hour
