- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Laser Machine Operator / Material Handler to join our manufacturing team in Pickering, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience operating fabrication equipment, reading technical drawings, and performing inventory-related tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and assist with TRUMPF laser cutting machines (preferred)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Use precision measuring tools such as verniers/calipers
- Perform inventory counting and material tracking
- Load, unload, and move materials using a forklift
- Ensure production quality and maintain workplace safety standards
- Support general shop and production operations as required
Qualifications
- Valid forklift license required
- Experience with inventory counting and material handling
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience using verniers/calipers and other measuring tools
- Previous experience with Trumpf laser cutting machines is considered a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
