We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Hand to support our culinary team in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cooking stations
- Handle food safely, following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Support food service operations by serving dishes and assisting with customer needs when required
- Manage waste disposal and ensure proper storage of ingredients to prevent spoilage
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks for kitchen supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
- Good understanding of kitchen safety practices and hygiene standards
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
- Basic cooking skills are advantageous but training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
