Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, utilizing a variety of construction, carpentry, and landscaping techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, heavy equipment operation, and various construction skills to ensure high-quality results in landscape projects. The Landscape Technician will work on diverse tasks ranging from planting and irrigation to concrete finishing and restoration, contributing to the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape installation and maintenance, including planting, mulching, and lawn care
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and skid steers safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for landscape projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for tasks like concrete forming, masonry, tile laying, and flooring installation
- Execute concrete finishing, restoration work, and masonry repairs as needed
- Install irrigation systems, plumbing components, electrical wiring for outdoor lighting, and other landscape features
- Conduct construction estimating for project planning and material procurement
- Perform carpentry tasks such as cabinet installation or framing when required
- Apply construction painting and caulking techniques to ensure durability of landscape structures
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols during heavy equipment operation and construction activities
- Assist with site cleanup, restoration work, and project completion to ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping or related construction fields with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction techniques including concrete forming and finishing
- Familiarity with masonry, welding, electrical work, plumbing, tile laying, flooring installation, carpentry (including cabinet installation), restoration work, and construction painting is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to estimate materials accurately for projects
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid <PERSON> license or relevant certifications preferred but not mandatory depending on specific job duties

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
