Doepker Industries is a leading Canadian manufacturer of highway semi-trailers. We are continually developing new and innovative designs for our customers across Canada and have won awards and been recognized for business excellence and innovation since 1948.
We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Prepper to join our team at our Annaheim location. Our shifts are 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, the purpose of the Prepper is to support the manufacturing flow by providing safe, efficient and quality prepping processes to ensure our customers’ trailers are on schedule for delivery.
Key accountabilities include:
· Cleaning and removing debris from our products
· Examining and inspecting the previous process’s work
· Assisting in maintaining equipment used for blasting
· Following established procedures for safety, quality and production
· Sharing your ideas to contribute to process improvements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Experience working within a manufacturing environment
· Training or certification in auto body would be an asset
· Ability to collaborate with a team
