Atlas Scaffolding is a shoring, formwork and scaffold supply company whose head office is located in Surrey, serving BC's construction, and building industry since 1996.
Currently, we are seeking an ambitious candidate to join the company as a yard supervisor at our Duncan, BC location to manage the operations of the yard in a systematic method as well as assist with sales and shipping/receiving of equipment. This role requires the ability to oversee all aspects of shipping, receiving, leading employees and communicating with head office in Surrey as required.
Job Duties:
- Perform daily forklift inspections.
- Load/unload trucks as required.
- Supervise yard employees and make sure they work and operate all machinery within company policies and procedures.
- Compile equipment to fulfill orders accurately and on schedule.
- Oversee inventory control.
- Always maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization/cleanliness of the yard and shop.
- Use basic power tools for repair or assembly of equipment.
- Communicate with management at the head office as needed.

Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of verifiable experience as a yard supervisor or manager in same or similar industry - required.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract – required.
- Forklift license – required.
- Scaffold and/or shoring equipment knowledge (an asset)
- Fall protection certification (an asset)
- First Aid certification (an asset)
