Job Overview: Bissett Cleaning & Janitorial Services is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to lead and support our cleaning teams across various locations. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service at all times. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented leader with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee cleaning technicians and ensure adherence to company procedures and quality standards.
- Perform site checks, carry keys, stage offices for clients, and resolve any cleaning issues promptly and professionally.
- Coach and mentor cleaning technicians to enhance performance and encourage professional growth.
- Foster team morale and encourage a positive, collaborative working environment.
- Maintain and execute a quality control schedule to monitor cleaning standards.
- Track team efficiencies and performance; offer constructive feedback and support as needed.
- Train and support new team members and provide on-the-job relief work when required.
- Identify and complete extra cleaning tasks that add value to our service and exceed client expectations.
- Provide reliable transportation between job sites or arrange alternative transportation solutions.
- Provide independent cleaning coverage during employee absences (vacation, illness, etc.)
- Carry out additional specialized cleaning services such as:
- • Wall washing, high dusting, window cleaning (interior/exterior)
- Carpet cleaning and floor refinishing
- Assist with warehouse housekeeping duties including:
- • General cleaning, laundering and folding rags, light equipment maintenance
- Chemical refills, inventory tracking, and office support tasks
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
- A team player who takes initiative and leads by example.
- Ability to manage time efficiently without compromising quality.
- Skilled at juggling multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Consistently upholds high-quality cleaning results across all locations.
- Ability to meet all necessary Security Clearance and Safety Training requirements for high-security job sites.
- Must have access to and use a personal mobile phone with data capabilities.
- Must have access to a personal vehicle for travel between job sites.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
