We are an established and growing childcare organization in Southwest Calgary, currently expanding our preschool programming.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to take on the role of Preschool Lead Educator. The successful candidate will lead a preschool classroom and support the delivery of high-quality, play-based learning experiences that promote children’s development.
This is a leadership role within our preschool program, with opportunities to contribute to curriculum planning and program development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a preschool classroom
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate programming
- Observe and document children’s learning and development
- Use observations to support curriculum planning and individual learning goals
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Implement positive behaviour guidance and classroom management strategies
- Build positive relationships with families and team members
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety standards
- Support daily routines and classroom operations
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification (Alberta)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a preschool setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for early childhood education

Work Location:
This position may be based at either our Evergreen or Somerset locations, depending on program needs and candidate experience.
