Hilltop Medical is the largest physician owned clinic in British Columbia. We have a large team of 25 x family physicians, variety of specialists, as well as our own in-house cardiac testing services. - Providing exemplary patient care
- Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary setting using our collective skills to improve patient experience
- Large clinic with 25 practitioners, and over 30 team members including RNs, LPNs, MOAs, Cardio Tech, and Managers.
Working alongside our physicians and nurses to provide front end administrative duties for a team of physicians.
Perform MOA duties including but not limited to;
- Answering Phones
- Booking Appointments
- Rooming Patients
- Performing patient Measures
- Recording with Accuracy
- Referrals
- Recalls
- Exam room Set-up and clean-up
- Patient Registration,
- Scanning and Electronic Filing,
- Creating patient letters and invoices
- Operate all required equipment
- Other duties as required
Requirements: Education, Training and Experience
- Medical Office Assistant Diploma, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Office Assistant (or equivalent)
- Profile knowledge is an asset (EMR)
Requirements: Skills and Abilities
- Strong Command of Computers including: Electronic Medical Records (Preferably Profile), and MS Office Suite (Preferably 365), Electronic Faxing.
- Experience with a busy multi-line phone system.
- Works well in a multidisciplinary team.
- Works in an organized manner.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Effective decision making skills and problem solving abilities.
- Is punctual and reliable, as well as professional in appearance and actions
Position Reports to first their Pod Lead, then the Clinic Manager.
Pay: From $23.50 per hour
