Employment Requirements

- Valid driver’s license and acceptable abstract – client / vendor site visits required (project dependent)

Primary Role Responsibilities
- Support the supervision and coordination of on-site construction activities, field personnel, subcontractors, materials, quality processes, and safe execution of mid-sized industrial HVAC projects.
- Support project work in Edmonton, Calgary, and other client sites as required; regular travel between project locations may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise the on-site execution of engineered work packages, ensuring field activities are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, schedules, safety requirements, and client expectations.
- Prepare accurate daily site reports documenting manpower, work completed, materials received, delays, safety observations, quality issues, and required follow-up actions.
- Coordinate field questions, RFIs, deficiencies, and technical clarifications between site personnel, subcontractors, the project team, and the engineer of record.
- Assist with LEM collection, review, backup documentation, and timely submission to support accurate progress tracking and client billing.
- Monitor and verify material receiving, storage, installation quality, subcontractor workmanship, and field compliance with project requirements.
- Support commissioning, deficiency resolution, punch-list completion, turnover documentation, and project closeout activities.
- Participate in design, constructability, execution planning, and project review meetings to provide field input before and during construction.
- Travel to client and project sites as required to support field execution, inspections, coordination meetings, and turnover activities.
Skill and Abilities
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, and internal resources to maintain scope alignment, productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
- Working understanding of Company, Client, and Project Standards, with the ability to identify field compliance requirements, deviations, and risks.
- Competent (fluent) in English (written, verbal, comprehension).
- Effective communication skills to coordinate clearly with clients, subcontractors, vendors, field crews, engineers, project managers, and internal leadership.
- Working knowledge of applicable HVAC construction practices, codes, and standards, including CSA, NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and building code requirements relevant to field execution.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 5-8 years of progressive HVAC field installation, construction coordination, or site supervision experience in industrial or commercial project environments.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driver’s abstract for project-related travel.
- Journeyperson trade certification, technical diploma, or equivalent HVAC construction experience is preferred; equivalent combinations of field experience and education will be considered.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
