Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Laborer to join our agricultural team. Starting July 02, 2026 to July 01, 2028 for 48 - 60 hours per week. Rate of pay is $16.75/hour and this will increase to $17.00/per hour on October 1, 2026.
This role involves hands-on work in crop cultivation, maintenance and farm operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable and eager to contribute to the successful operation of our farm. Prior experience in horticulture or farm machinery is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for motivated individuals. This position offers an opportunity to develop practical skills in farming and equipment maintenance within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with planting, harvesting and crop care activities
- Operate farm machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm infrastructure
- Conduct general farm upkeep including bin repair, weeding, pruning, tree care through the season, soil preparation and harvesting
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies and harvested crops
- Follow safety protocols during all farm operations
Qualifications
- There is no educational requirement for this position. Training will be provided.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently during all tasks
- Prior experience in farming or agricultural work is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
