Job Summary:
The Window and Door Installation Foreman/Lead Hand will oversee and lead a team of installers to ensure the efficient and accurate installation of windows and doors for residential projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of window and door installers, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the company’s high standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and address any issues or changes in project scope.
- Perform installation tasks as needed, including removing old windows/doors, preparing openings, and installing new units.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Manage job site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment, and waste disposal.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project progress.
- Address client concerns and provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in window and door installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques, tools, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction, carpentry, or a related field is a plus.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
