Peak Precision Machining is a full-service job shop located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains just outside Canmore, Alberta. We specialize in machining, fabrication, equipment repair, and field services for a wide range of industrial equipment. Our team takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and practical solutions for our customers.
As a Millwright at Peak Precision Machining, you'll work alongside experienced machinists and pump service mechanics in a collaborative shop environment. Every day brings new challenges, with work ranging from equipment rebuilds and repairs to in-field mechanical services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working on a wide variety of industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, remove, inspect, and repair industrial equipment (i.e. compressors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, fluid couplings, ect.)
- Perform hydraulic cylinder repairs and rebuilds
- Assist with fabrication and custom repair projects
- Complete laser alignments
- Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend repair solutions
- Work safely in both shop and field environments
- Collaborate with machinists and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications
- Journeyperson Millwright certification or relevant experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices
- Valid driver's license is an asset

Wages are competitive and will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
