Salon Rouge is one of Ottawa's premier luxury hair salons, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated, and career-minded Customer Sales Representative to become an essential part of our team.
This is not a traditional receptionist position. We are seeking someone who is passionate about sales, enjoys helping people, and understands that exceptional customer service and strong sales go hand in hand. Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional, five-star experience to every client.
- Build relationships with clients and confidently recommend salon services, retail products, treatments, memberships, and gift certificates.
- Convert phone, text, online, and walk-in inquiries into booked appointments.
- Maximize appointment bookings through upselling and cross-selling.
- Follow up with clients for appointment confirmations, rebooking, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate daily schedules with hairstylists to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Manage appointments, cancellations, and waitlists.
- Process payments, POS transactions, cash balancing, and administrative duties accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with social media posting, online messaging, and client engagement.
- Help achieve monthly sales, retail, and customer service goals.
Qualifications
- Full-time availability, including evenings and Saturdays.
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong closing, objection-handling, and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Comfortable using computers, booking software, and POS systems.
- Salon, beauty, luxury retail, hospitality, or high-end customer service experience is an asset.
