Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, boilers, and other mechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct welding, appliance repair, and construction tasks as needed to support facility operations
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist with installation of new equipment or systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures promptly to minimize downtime
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, HVAC systems, or related maintenance fields
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Previous mechanic experience or background in appliance repair or construction preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to HVAC, plumbing, welding, or mechanical systems are a plus
