Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated and highly organized Print Project Manager to oversee and coordinate large format print and signage projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print production, project management, and client relations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans and workback schedules based on client requests.
- Project Execution: Request estimates, facilitate the proofing process, receive feedback, keep projects moving between departments.
- Project Management: Oversee and coordinate the entire project lifecycle from initial client request to final delivery and installation, keep projects moving forward to ensure key milestones are met.
- Client Interaction: Act as the main point of contact for clients, gathering requirements, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project.
- Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, installation). Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, coordinating the procurement of materials and services.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor projects throughout the production process and ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential project risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to all people and departments on project status, milestones, and any challenges encountered.
- Budget Management: Track project budgets, managing costs and ensuring profitability while maintaining quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project processes and outcomes, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Print Project Management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of large format print production lifecycles, requirements, techniques and materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-focused approach.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure, while still maintaining organization and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, online meeting programs (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
- A Degree / certificate in Project Management, Graphic Design/Communication, Business Administration, and/or a related field is an asset
- Knowledge of Project Management or Design Software is an asset.
