Inertia Hydrovac strives for excellence when supplying our customers with a variety of services including Hydro-Vac, Combo-Vac and Straight-Vac trucks. We are focused on the execution of proper procedures and safety for every customer and employee.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (including THC).
- Arrive at work fit for duty and punctual on every shift.
- Maintain good housekeeping habits.
- Complete all assigned jobs with a professional and positive attitude.
- Provide overall assistance to the operator on the work site to ensure safe set up, operation and tear down of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain consistent communication with the operator both verbally and using hand signals.
- Continually scan the work area for potential hazardous conditions and/or changing conditions.
- Assist in all other required duties.
Qualifications & Prerequisites:
- First Aid & CPR Level C with AED is required for the job (if you don't have it, we will put you through the course).
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II and Fall Protection are assets.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends and emergency call-outs as required.
- Previous experience in industry is an asset.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Valid class 5 license and reliable transportation is required.
- Clean 5 year drivers abstract.
